First of all, I want to publicly apologize to @uvd. I never expected this storm of public opinion to drag you into it as well. Since @uvd joined the Sui ecosystem, not only did they buy various ecosystem tokens, but they also organized events at their own expense to help developers. They were a very responsible Mod, but in the end, they still left. Sui Foundation didn’t try to solve the problems; instead, they dealt with the people who raised and tried to solve the problems first. Originally, I really didn’t want to publicly criticize Sui Foundation, but the lack of respect and feedback left me no choice. Who wants to openly call out others online? But problems won’t disappear just because I don’t talk about them or someone else doesn’t talk about them—they’ll manifest in other ways. From the first time SUI crashed, to them asking us for sponsorship fees, it was already frustrating. Then there was Cyn’s outrageous speech in Hong Kong, followed by multiple SUI crashes. During this period, the token price dropped from $3 to $0.7. And yet, all we got was indifference, silence, and disrespect. I endured all of this. But then came the removal of JSON RPC, and they even blamed developers for not upgrading sooner. That was the final straw that ignited this wave of public opinion. They could have stepped up to face the issues, communicate, and resolve them, but unfortunately, they didn’t—not even once. I knew very well that once I started publicly criticizing Sui Foundation, the situation would explode. I held back countless times, not wanting to escalate the issue, thinking the foundation needed time and the market was in a bear phase. But my goodwill was met with repeated arrogance, indifference, and disrespect. Enough is enough—I have to stand up and speak out. After shouting for a while, there’s still no official response or apology. You can’t wake someone who’s pretending to be asleep.
