[SpaceXAI to Deploy NVIDIA Vera CPU and Plans to Expand Vera Rubin Architecture to Space AI Computing]
According to Deep Tide TechFlow on August 24, NVIDIA's official announcement states that SpaceXAI will deploy the NVIDIA Vera CPU to accelerate next-generation Agentic AI applications and further expand the AI infrastructure supporting Grok. SpaceXAI plans to adopt the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform, scaling computing power to the gigawatt level. NVIDIA revealed that the Vera CPU is equipped with 88 Olympus cores and offers a memory bandwidth of up to 1.2 TB/s, achieving task completion speeds up to 1.8 times faster than x86 CPUs for workloads such as Agentic AI, reinforcement learning, and data processing. Additionally, SpaceXAI intends to extend NVIDIA accelerated computing into space, with its first-generation Starmind AI satellite set to be built on the optimized Vera Rubin NVL72 system, aimed at developing orbital AI computing infrastructure.
