After being approved via Proposal 365 on August 21, Secret Network implemented the v1.26.0 upgrade, issuing an additional 1.079 billion SCRT in one go, expanding the total supply to approximately 1.44 billion. The share held by original holders has dropped to about one-quarter. The foundation and core development projects each received 299 million SCRT, with 308.4 million entering circulation on the first day. The ongoing inflation rate is set at 5%. The main development team, SCRT Labs, will cease support on September 1, leaving the network's future dependent on whether validators and the community can take on subsequent development and maintenance.
