"Accidentally came across this video, and I think it’s pretty good. At least this creator isn’t just talking nonsense with their eyes closed—they actually asked some key questions. Especially when it comes to referencing data, I’ll try to answer a bit here: 1. Although Bitcoin’s long-term holders have slightly decreased since early August, as of now, 14.762 million $BTC (73.52% of the total circulating supply) haven’t moved for over 155 days. This means that portion of $BTC has been held for more than half a year without any movement. 2. Investors holding more than 10 Bitcoin collectively own 16.633 million $BTC, which accounts for 82.86% of the total circulating supply. Combining this with point 1, it’s clear that most high-net-worth investors are also long-term holders. 3. The U.S. Bitcoin spot ETF has held a total of 1,242,260 $BTC from January 11, 2024, to today. The largest holder is BlackRock, with 762,287 $BTC. BlackRock is the world’s largest asset management company, and U.S. institutional investors have consistently been in an accumulation phase. 4. As for U.S.-listed companies, there are currently about 69 companies collectively holding 1.16 million $BTC. MicroStrategy alone holds 840,447 $BTC. Moreover, based on 13F filings, the amount of $BTC held by publicly listed companies has been steadily increasing (including IBIT). 5. Russia has officially allowed exporters and importers to use Bitcoin for cross-border settlements. The Russian Finance Minister has confirmed that Russian companies are using domestically mined $BTC for international trade. Iran has even started directly accepting Bitcoin and other digital assets for maritime services in the Hormuz region. For these countries, the reason to buy $BTC isn’t about whether Bitcoin will hit $150,000 next year. It’s about the fact that if their dollar accounts could be frozen or banks might refuse transactions, using $BTC for settlements ensures they won’t face any obstacles." #Bitcoin #Crypto #BTC
