Over the past week, Strategy sold a total of 18,261,118 shares of MSTR through its ATM program, netting $2.0065 billion.
Of this, $136.4 million was used to repurchase 1,431,212 shares of STRC, while another $300 million was added to cash reserves. As of August 23, Strategy's cash reserves have grown to $5.1 billion.
Additionally, $1.57 billion was allocated to the newly established USD Cash fund. USD Cash can be used for purchasing bitcoin:native, paying preferred stock dividends and debt interest, repurchasing MSTR and preferred stock, or repaying/repurchasing convertible bonds. Currently, USD Cash holds a total of $1.59 billion.
However, Strategy did not purchase any BTC this week. It still holds 840,447 BTC, with a cumulative purchase cost of $63.36 billion and an average cost of $75,385 per BTC.
Strategy's remaining MSTR ATM capacity is approximately $19.694 billion.
PS: The difference between USD Reserve and USD Cash is that the former is primarily used for buybacks and dividends, while the latter includes those functions plus the ability to purchase Bitcoin. So, moving forward, MSTR's BTC purchases will likely come from USD Cash funds.
