According to Digital Asset, the South Korean Financial Services Commission's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) has announced revised anti-money laundering regulations for virtual assets, further clarifying rules for personal wallets and transfers to overseas exchanges. For personal wallets, high-risk transactions will be restricted, and under non-high-risk circumstances, transfers are generally only allowed to wallets under the same individual's name. For overseas exchanges, platforms are categorized into low, medium, and high risk. Low-risk platforms can process transfers normally after meeting information disclosure and anti-money laundering requirements, while high-risk platforms will face transaction restrictions. For others, transfers are only permitted between accounts under the same individual's name. The new regulations took effect on August 20, but requirements related to personal wallets and overseas exchanges are expected to be officially implemented around February next year. https://(wublock123.com)/news/korea-fiu-wallet-to-exchange-transfer-rules-high-risk-limits-67094
