According to Edaily, South Korea's Financial Services Commission Chairman Lee Bok-hyun stated that the government has essentially completed the second phase of legislative preparations for the Digital Asset Basic Act related to stablecoins. They plan to expedite consultations with the National Assembly, aiming to propose the bill this fall and finalize legislation within the year. Currently, South Korea's National Assembly has 10 pending bills related to digital assets and stablecoins under review. The chairman of the Political Affairs Committee may also propose a unified version incorporating the government's plan next month. Previously, the South Korean government included stablecoin regulation and Bitcoin spot ETFs in the agenda for digital asset system development in the second half of this year. https://(wublock123.com)/news/south-korea-financial-services-commission-accelerates-digital-asset-framework-law-67090
