Since the bull market is here, nobody seems to know what to play with. So, during the bear market, which underrated but interesting narratives that were ahead of their time should we keep an eye on? (Some have already started pumping ) 1) Hooks: Uniswap V4 Hooks are externally customizable smart contracts that allow you to insert custom logic at key points in the AMM Pool lifecycle (e.g., initialization, adding/removing liquidity, before/after swaps, donations, fee handling, etc.). (uPEG\SATO\Slonks) 2) x402: Reviving the long-standing but never truly utilized HTTP 402 Payment Required status code to serve as the foundational support for Agent Payment. (PAYAI, dreams, etc.) 3) RWAFI: Not just tokenizing assets, but introducing composable narratives in DeFi based on TradFi assets as underlying liquidity or tokenized assets. (Stonkbroker, INDEX, etc.) 4) Agentic Economy: An open protocol launched by Google that enables AI Agents from different frameworks to discover, communicate, delegate tasks, and collaborate with each other, forming the communication layer of the Agentic Economy. This could expand into a series of fun applications like Agent social networks, Agent games, and Agent-based human replacements. (Moltbook, etc.) Additionally, there’s a whole range of innovative narratives around AI+Crypto, including Agent infrastructure, applications, and protocols. Prediction Markets, Perp Dex, and privacy narratives are still hot, so we won’t go into those. What other interesting narratives are out there? Feel free to share in the comments.
