**[Ray Dalio: U.S. Debt Expected to Reach $55 Trillion to $60 Trillion Within Ten Years, Recommends Allocating a Small Amount to Bitcoin]**
Odaily Planet Daily News - Bridgewater Associates founder Ray Dalio stated that the scale of U.S. debt could reach $55 trillion to $60 trillion in the next 10 years. If the fiscal trajectory remains unchanged, a full-blown debt crisis may emerge in approximately three years, with a margin of error of plus or minus two years. Ray Dalio recommends investors allocate 10% to 15% of their funds to gold and a small amount to Bitcoin, while reducing exposure to debt assets such as bonds. He noted that non-government-issued currencies like gold and Bitcoin may perform relatively well.
According to data from the U.S. Treasury Department, as of the close of business on August 18, the balance of U.S. public debt reached $40.05 trillion, surpassing $40 trillion for the first time. On August 19, the U.S. Treasury announced an expansion of long-term liquidity support for repurchase agreements, increasing the maximum single repurchase size for certain 10- to 30-year securities from $2 billion to at least $4 billion. This measure will be effective from September 9 to November 4. (Bitcoin.com News)
