The fixed-rate lending DeFi platform TermMax's S1 season we talked about earlier has officially started.
@TermMaxFi was selected for Yzi Labs' EASY Residency Season 3 back in May, and the gameplay for S1 is tied to the future exchange of TMX, so here's a breakdown of the S1 rules.
Mainly because the original rules are waaaaay too long, so I went through them for you all .
TermMax S1 is currently in the invite-only phase.
It’s kind of like an RPG: real interactions determine rankings, rankings determine weekly earnings, and items and guilds act as buffs.
There are two types of rewards in S1:
- Tico: the salary token (basically points)
- AC: the ancient token (linked to future TMX exchange rights)
The core gameplay of S1 can be summarized as a loop:
- Interact on TermMax to improve five ratings
- Earn Tico weekly
- Use Tico to get Boosts, Shards, and Guild Flags
- Amplify future contributions
- Compete for a bigger reward share next week
There are five scoring categories for S1 interactions:
Lending, Borrowing, Vault, Options, and Engagement (community content recognized by Mindshare).
Each rating ranges from S to E, representing your relative ranking among all players, not a fixed score.
Each week, there’s a fixed Tico reward pool for the five categories.
Your share of the pool depends on your effective contribution in each category compared to the total contributions. Add up the rewards from all five categories, and that’s your weekly income.
So, it’s a massive PVP. If you want to grind for points, it’s best to find a less competitive track.
Some additional details, for example:
- Position ratings depend on fund size × holding time. Frequent short-term deposits/withdrawals won’t help.
- There’s a check-in system, but missing a check-in resets your progress to zero.
- Dual Investment counts toward Options, not Vault.
There are a lot more details, so if you’re interested, feel free to send it to an AI for a summary.
