According to Yonhap News, as of the end of July 2026, South Korea's five major crypto exchanges have registered a total of 6,590 corporate accounts. Among them, Bithumb leads with 3,280 accounts, followed by Upbit with 2,086 accounts, with the two exchanges accounting for a combined 81.4%. Only 711 corporate accounts have completed Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, making up 10.8%, while active accounts—those that conducted transactions, staking, or deposits/withdrawals during the month—were just 29. The total crypto assets held by these corporations amount to approximately 43.38 billion KRW, with 62.4% held through Upbit. South Korean regulators are working on a phased plan to allow corporations to use KRW for crypto asset investments and financial management transactions. https://(wublock123.com)/news/south-korea-top-5-crypto-exchanges-6500-plus-corporate-accounts-bithumb-near-half-67047
