[Justin Sun Claims WLFI Lawsuit Concerns Blockchain Ownership Principles] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on August 22, TRON founder Justin Sun stated in a post that his lawsuit against World Liberty Financial appears to be a commercial dispute involving $45 million and 4 billion tokens, but in essence, it concerns the foundational principles of blockchain. He emphasized that the industry is built on the concept of 'your keys, your coins,' meaning that everyone can truly own their assets without needing permission. Justin Sun pointed out that the case exposes the opposing party's secret embedding of the power to arbitrarily freeze user assets within the contract, without disclosure, governance, or due process, and that this power was exercised just days after the tokens were unlocked. He argued that this violates the principle of 'liberty,' as if issuers can confiscate holders' assets at any time, blockchain would be no different from the old world. He vowed to pursue the lawsuit to the end, not only to recover the assets but also to establish a legal precedent affirming that 'your assets must truly belong to you.'
