Zcash Open Development Lab (ZODL) announced that its incubated policy advocacy project, Pretty Good Policy for Zcash (PGPZ), is becoming an independent 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization and has applied for a $750,000 grant from Zcash Community Grants for its first year of operations. PGPZ will be led by Divij Pandya as Executive Director, with an initial focus on U.S. financial privacy, digital asset market structure, developer and non-custodial infrastructure protection, anti-money laundering, sanctions, and tax policies. The organization plans to engage with legislators and regulators, publish policy papers, and promote specific legislative or regulatory proposals.
