Didn’t expect Bitcoin to hit $73,000 yesterday, and didn’t expect bitcoin:native to surge to $78,000 today. Yesterday, my dual-currency investment was still holding under $70,000, but today, if I want to make a move, I definitely have to cross $70,000. Honestly, as someone who’s been buying the dips consistently, this price isn’t ideal for continuing to buy low. But since I’m still testing dual-currency strategies, I’ll have to push through and keep going.
Right now, my choice is to set the downside range around 5.5% to 6%. So, I picked a $73,500 test account and a $73,000 personal account. The test account earns a bit more and has a slightly higher risk tolerance, while my personal account is more conservative.
Since today is the weekend, what I need to gamble on is whether there will be a drop of more than 5% before 4 AM tomorrow. If not, it’s highly likely that there won’t be any transactions on Monday. If it does drop, the $73,000 cost is a bit high, but still acceptable. Once we get past the U.S. Friday trading session, weekends usually don’t see much volatility, so it should be relatively safe by Monday.
