[SOL Treasury Company HSDT: Supports the Solana Constitution but Opposes Immediate Adjustments to Inflation and Fees]
BlockBeats News, August 21 — SOL Treasury Company Solana Company (HSDT) has announced its voting stance on the first three Solana Governance Proposals (SGPs). It supports the adoption of SGP-0001, the 'Solana Constitution'; opposes SGP-0002, which proposes doubling the rate of inflation reduction; and also opposes SGP-0003, which suggests changing transaction fees from fixed to variable. On-chain voting is expected to begin on August 22.
The company stated that its support for the Solana Constitution is due to the new governance system allowing every staker to vote directly, and holders can always overturn the votes of their delegated operators, which facilitates institutional participation in network decision-making.
However, regarding the other two proposals, the company emphasized that it is not opposed to the direction itself but rather the timing. This is a critical period for institutions considering entering Solana, and what institutions value most is stability and predictability of rules. Adjusting the inflation rate and transaction fees—two core economic parameters—at this time could make institutions still on the sidelines even more hesitant.
The company stated that once sustained net capital inflows into SOL are observed, it would support revisiting discussions on reducing inflation. It is also open to reconsidering the proposal to make transaction fees variable after the ecosystem has adapted. [Original Link]
