[Injective Institutional Services Division Receives SEC Transfer Agent Registration, Becomes the First Layer 1 Blockchain with This Status]
Odaily Planet Daily News: Injective, a Layer 1 blockchain, has had its institutional services division registered as a securities transfer agent with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Injective stated that this marks the first time a Layer 1 blockchain has obtained such registration, enabling it to provide regulated services for securities ownership records, transfers, distributions, and shareholder management. The registration covers four categories of tokenized assets already launched: institutional funds, publicly traded company stocks, private company shares, and corporate accounts receivable. It allows related processes to utilize distributed ledger infrastructure while complying with U.S. securities regulatory rules.
Injective has already introduced markets related to digital asset treasury companies, publicly traded stocks, and private company shares such as SpaceX and OpenAI. Additionally, it has launched the tokenized asset issuance platform Injective Mint Alpha. In July, South Korea's largest trading company POSCO International and LG CNS, a technology company under the LG Group, selected Injective to conduct a trade finance pilot program. The initiative aims to tokenize accounts receivable generated from international trade and complete their transfer, management, and settlement. (Bitcoin.com News)
