Whoa, Musk's FOMO vibes are off the charts this time
Someone predicted that SpaceX's revenue will grow by 2090% in the next 5 years—almost 20x growth.
Then Musk personally jumped in to reply:
I know this sounds crazy, but I think SpaceX and Tesla will exceed these estimates.
Translation:
Not that 20x is impossible, but 20x might actually be an underestimate.
SpaceX is no longer just a rocket company.
Starlink is becoming the backbone of global internet infrastructure, Starship is opening up large-scale space transportation, and in the AI era, the most scarce resources—computing power, electricity, and communication capabilities—could all become growth engines for SpaceX.
Musk has previously revealed that SpaceX's AI-related revenue is growing rapidly and might surpass its traditional aerospace business in the future.
A lot of people are still valuing SpaceX like a traditional aerospace company.
But what Musk sees is:
The next-gen AI infrastructure company.
If AI truly becomes the dominant force in productivity, the company that owns launch capabilities, satellite networks, energy setups, and a robotics ecosystem might not just be an aerospace company—it could be a super infrastructure platform.
