[Samsung Electronics Plans to Launch a Shareholder Return Program Worth Approximately 150 Trillion KRW]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on August 20, according to the Korea Economic Daily, Samsung Electronics is expected to hold a board meeting this month to review a shareholder return plan, including stock buybacks and cancellations, as well as special dividends, with a scale potentially reaching 150 trillion to 160 trillion KRW. Driven by the recovery in the memory semiconductor market, the company's cash generation capability has significantly improved. The market anticipates that, in addition to maintaining regular dividends, Samsung Electronics may introduce a one-time special dividend and simultaneously implement large-scale stock buybacks and cancellations to enhance shareholder value.
