Can’t believe Trump would use a term like 'far ahead,' but in this context, it's true that cryptocurrencies are far ahead of China. And from the current outlook, they might pull even further ahead—after all, China doesn’t support them at all. However, when it comes to AI, China is still leading, though maybe not 'far ahead.'
During the recent $BTC downturn, the entire crypto space has actually been steadily building comprehensive connections with the traditional financial industry. Whether it’s centralized exchanges (cex) like Binance or decentralized exchanges (dex) like Hype, the listing and adoption of crypto stocks have already given the U.S. financial market the ability to absorb global capital without needing permission from other countries. This capability could become a lethal weapon for the U.S. in financial warfare, and as of now, there doesn’t seem to be a good solution to counter this crypto weapon.
Just because you don’t embrace something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Falling behind step by step only makes it harder to catch up. What’s more, the performance of Hong Kong as a Web3 testing ground has been pretty underwhelming. To this day, they still haven’t managed to truly push forward an offshore RMB stablecoin.
