According to Yonhap News Agency, the Korea Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) recently requested major Korean won cryptocurrency exchanges to submit corporate account holdings of Korean won cash, fund return records, and related business preparation details, in preparation for expanding corporate participation in the crypto market. As outlined in Korea's previously announced roadmap, the second phase plans to allow approximately 3,500 listed companies and registered professional investor corporations to pilot cryptocurrency asset trading, though the official implementation date has yet to be determined. Regulatory authorities will also strengthen banks' requirements for reviewing transaction purposes, fund sources, and AML compliance. https://(wublock123.com)/news/news-66851
