[Chery's Moxiang Robotics Plans Independent IPO, Targeting Overseas Police and Service Markets]
According to IT Home citing Reuters, Moxiang Robotics, a subsidiary of Chery Automobile, has initiated preparations for an IPO, aiming to raise funds for subsequent expansion and technological investments through the listing. Zhang Guibing, President of Chery International and head of Moxiang Robotics, disclosed this plan. Currently, Moxiang Robotics is in discussions with multiple potential listing locations and is preparing to significantly increase the delivery volume of humanoid robots next year, with the goal of entering the top tier of the global robotics industry.
Moxiang Robotics was incubated by Chery in January 2025 and has achieved a cumulative global delivery volume of over 3,000 units, with 2,000 units sold overseas, reaching over 60 countries and regions. The company has launched humanoid police robots, with 110 units deployed in multiple cities across China to assist with traffic management, crowd guidance, and public safety promotion. It also plans to expand into overseas police and service robot markets.
