[Hudson River Trading Q2 Trading Revenue Hits Record $11.4 Billion]
Odaily Planet Daily reports that quantitative trading firm Hudson River Trading (HRT) achieved a record-breaking $11.4 billion in trading revenue in the second quarter, a year-over-year increase of more than threefold. Net profit for the same period reached $7.4 billion, with adjusted EBITDA approximately $8 billion, representing a growth of over 350% compared to $1.75 billion in the same period last year. Additionally, HRT remained profitable during the AI stock crash in July and had no direct exposure to Situational Awareness risks. Meanwhile, Jane Street, impacted by investments related to Situational Awareness and other factors, recorded a $15 billion loss in July, marking its first monthly loss in a decade. (Bloomberg)
