[OpenAI to Strengthen Security Processes for Paid Tool Users]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on August 20, OpenAI announced that it will enhance security handling processes for paid users and begin testing 'private security handling.' This technology aims to improve security capabilities by identifying risk patterns across multiple interactions, rather than analyzing single prompts and responses in isolation. OpenAI stated that as AI takes on longer-term and more autonomous tasks, risks often emerge from the combination of multiple interactions. The company emphasized that the new process is designed to prevent attacks from malicious users and misaligned AI agents while maintaining 'zero data retention' compatibility, ensuring that customer content will not be accessed by OpenAI. OpenAI expects to launch this feature in September and release a related technical white paper. It is currently conducting tests with early partners such as Microsoft and Databricks.
