Ethereum exchange balances keep falling while Bitcoin’s came back. Over the same three weeks, the two majors went opposite ways.
📉 ETH supply on exchanges has dropped from ~7.70M on Jun 2 to ~6.54M on Aug 18, about 1.15M coins off exchanges, roughly 15% in eleven weeks.
🔀 BTC went the other way. From Jul 28 to Aug 18 its exchange balance rose about 1.8%, roughly 23,000 coins back on, while ETH fell about 2.2% over the identical window.
📊 ETH has not paused either. Aug 16, 17 and 18 each closed lower than the one before.
🔒 Reported context for where it is going: staking sits near record levels and corporate treasuries keep adding, with BitMine alone holding close to 5% of supply, most of it staked.
One float came back to the exchanges. The other keeps walking out.
