On August 18, the total holdings of U.S. bitcoin:native spot ETFs continued to climb, reaching 1,226,566.06 BTC, with a net increase of 3,134.73 BTC on the day—marking the second consecutive trading day of net inflows.
However, the cumulative net increase over the past 7 trading days is only 1,173.20 BTC. This is because the consecutive outflows from August 10 to 14 are still weighing on the 7-day data. So, while the pace of recovery over the past two days has been rapid, the weekly figure has just barely turned positive.
Since the start of August, BTC ETF total holdings have increased by 13,852.46 BTC, a growth of approximately 1.14%. Since 2026, total holdings have decreased by 75,210.21 BTC, but from the first day of listing to now, they have increased by 604,215.39 BTC, representing a growth of 97.09%.
Overall, BTC funds have shifted from last week’s continuous outflows to a clear rebound. However, the cumulative 7-day net inflow remains modest, indicating that this round of fund recovery is still primarily concentrated in the past two trading days.
