Although I lost money shorting ADR during the day, like I mentioned this afternoon, if the positive news is just about buybacks, it shouldn't apply to the entire semiconductor sector. But in the afternoon, I noticed both MU and SNDK were going up, so I felt there was still room to short. Since I was about to head out, I placed a short order at $168. On my way out, I felt it wasn’t very secure, so I also placed a short order at the spot price. While eating, I saw that this order was still losing money, but when I got back in the evening, I realized it had already turned profitable. However, this order was small, and even with the $168 short order, it only covered the losses from earlier in the day. So, even though I made a bit of profit now, it’s still far from covering the losses from earlier. Now I’m debating whether to hold the position overnight, betting that the price will continue to drop tomorrow during the day. For now, I see the upward momentum as pretty weak, so I’ll take a gamble. This kind of trade for me has no real strategy—it’s purely a bet on the direction. @Gate Crypto, US stocks, Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, gold, CFD, prediction markets all-in-one trading platform
