August 17th: The total holdings of the U.S. bitcoin:native spot ETF rebounded to 1,223,431.71 BTC, with a net increase of 4,610.36 BTC on the day, ending the weaker capital performance seen over the past few trading days. Since this was the first trading day of the new week, the cumulative net increase for the week is also 4,610.36 BTC. However, if we look at the past seven trading days, the cumulative net outflow is still 224.98 BTC, which is essentially flat. This indicates that while the large-scale replenishment on August 17th offset a significant portion of the previous outflows, it hasn’t yet established a clear net inflow advantage for the week. Since the beginning of August, BTC ETF total holdings have increased by 10,718.10 BTC, a growth of approximately 0.88%. Since 2026, cumulative holdings have decreased by 78,344.57 BTC, but from the listing date to now, there’s still a cumulative increase of 601,081.04 BTC, representing a growth of approximately 96.58%. BTC now seems to be experiencing its first significant replenishment after last week’s consecutive net outflows. A single-day net increase of 4,600 BTC is already quite substantial, but whether this trend can continue for two or three consecutive trading days will determine if this is just a short-term correction or a sign of renewed capital strength. @Gate Crypto, U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, gold, CFD, prediction markets—all in one platform!
