Based/native rollups, like shared sequencers, are a false proposition because rollup projects cannot relinquish the ability to earn privileged income from sequencers. This also perfectly explains why mainstream rollups don’t choose to upgrade to based/native rollups, and similarly explains why former leaders in this niche like @Spire_Labs and @risechain have fallen by the wayside.
