According to Wu Blockchain, crypto services platform Blockchain.com has announced that it has been approved to join the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)'s Accelerated Regulatory Incubation Program (ARIP). This allows the company to operate within the regulatory sandbox framework outlined by the program. The company must still comply with the SEC's ongoing compliance requirements, testing parameters, and other regulatory conditions. ARIP is designed for virtual asset service providers and fintech companies, primarily to evaluate digital asset business models, operational risks, investor protection, and anti-money laundering standards.
