According to Bloomberg, Singapore-based hedge fund Dymon Asia Capital has secured approximately $1 billion in phased funding from the Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC) to support its expansion into markets ranging from London to Hong Kong. As of July, Dymon's assets under management have grown to approximately $9 billion, far exceeding its previous projection of $5 billion by the end of 2026. Its multi-strategy fund has delivered a return of about 7.5% this year.
Dymon is focusing on expanding its commodities division and London team, having brought on Amir Ravan from Jain Global as Head of Commodities, Jay Radia from BlueCrest as Chief Operating Officer for Commodities, and recruiting former Schonfeld macro trader Manas Baveja in London.
