[Ethereum Foundation Core Developer Sina Mahmoodi Resigns, Previously Involved in Geth Development] Ethereum core developer Sina Mahmoodi has announced his departure from the Ethereum Foundation after more than seven years of service. Mahmoodi joined the Ethereum Foundation in 2019 after graduating from university and was involved in the development of EthereumJS, eWASM, and the Geth client, with Geth becoming a critical infrastructure in the Ethereum ecosystem. He stated that his belief in Ethereum as a decentralized global settlement layer has never wavered and that he will take a temporary break before deciding on his next steps.
