[Google Allows Users to Disable Visible Watermarks for Gemini and Flow-Generated Content]
Josh Woodward from Google stated on X that users can now enable or disable visible watermarks in Gemini and Flow, with support for Search to follow. This feature applies to all images generated by Nano Banana, videos generated by Omni, and songs generated by Lyria, except in countries and regions where laws require watermarks to be retained. While visible watermarks are optional, invisible SynthID watermarks and C2PA metadata will still be preserved to identify whether content is AI-generated. Additionally, Google has open-sourced a new C++ library, Credentio, for C2PA content credentials.
