I am particularly touched by Brother Ni's article. In fact, Brother Ni is too fond of me. I am an ordinary investor and blogger myself, and I often make mistakes. It cannot be said that I am indifferent, and I dare not be a "teacher". Ni is the leader of my X, and it was only with Ni's encouragement that I started writing on X in 2022. He also frequently recommends and continues to ride on Ni's traffic until now. Taking advantage of Brother Ni's words, I would like to share my basic feelings: 1. The core of output is first and foremost to serve oneself This is the philosophy I have always adhered to. Pay attention to macro, industrial development, technological changes, and liquidity. Firstly, it is because these are my interests, and before writing X, I was also following, reading, and researching these topics with great enthusiasm. Secondly, there is also an investment requirement. To put it bluntly, over the past decade or so, I should have read all the books I could find about finance, politics, industrial history, corporate history/entrepreneur biographies, and any well-known investor. Returning to the point of serving oneself first: 1) Writing down research and thinking in a clear and organized manner is itself a process of strengthening cognition and filling in gaps; 2) When writing, I force myself to sort out the logic again, force out vague points, and look back at old tweets to see my blind spots and progress at that time. 3) This process is also a further strengthening process, which can deepen understanding and recognition, and increase confidence in one's own investment; 4) Writing it out and receiving feedback from different dimensions is also a better process for improvement. The long-term compound interest of 'writing like investing' is far more important than short-term traffic. Brother Ni encouraged me to start writing back then, and now it's been over four years. The biggest takeaway is the iteration of my cognition and meeting a group of like-minded friends. Output is not to prove one's ability to trade, but to clarify ideas and find people who can collide with viewpoints together. 2. Trading and KOLs may conflict, but investment and output can always go hand in hand 1) Do you agree with Guilin @ Guilin_Chen_ here https://((x.com))/guilin_chen_/status/20881334331055407370? S=46&t=k6rimWs Ebo2D2TXolYcM-A said: Trading is indeed a very personal matter, because the true trading state is neutral, mechanical, and minimally influenced by external emotions. Once the trading results are made public, it is easy to be influenced by traffic, evaluation, and the emotions of competitors, which can actually affect decision-making. To become a KOL, it requires traffic, topics, gimmicks, and even proactive engagement ..... There will indeed be conflicts. 2) But investment and output can be parallel Both investing and writing output require continuous learning, observation, and thinking. Investment requires studying and analyzing market trends and company fundamentals. As mentioned earlier, the core of output should first serve oneself. I am just writing down the results of my usual research and analysis, that's all. All of them are training in rational thinking and long-term accumulation. I know many well-known investors who are also excellent writers, such as Peter Lynch, who reshaped the core of my growth stock investment, Howard Marks, who helped me deeply understand the cycle, Charlie Munger, who helped me build a multi-dimensional thinking model, and Andrea Costolani, who helped me understand that speculation is life. They make me yearn for them and aspire to them. 3) Investment and Trading Previously, here was https://((x.com))/qinbafrank/status/2031897981650419769? S=46&t=k6rimWSEbo2D2TXolYcM-A has also discussed the personality differences presented by investors and traders, which are essentially the differences in thinking between the weak and the strong. I position myself as an investor rather than a trader. I haven't opened a single contract in so many years. The US stock market is dominated by regular stocks, while cryptocurrency is a spot market. To be honest, short-term trading is really not feasible due to my personality. It is more about looking at macro, cyclical, industry trends, and capital flows from top to bottom, and then focusing on specific targets. During the process, there may be right and wrong, and sometimes when the judgment is wrong, climbing a pit is normal. So I don't think it's necessary to showcase orders or profits to 'prove' anything.
Regarding the incorrect output on X, a certain positioning is to share personal observations on the industry, trends, and macro level, which is open and debatable. I also hope to obtain more feedback from different dimensions and perspectives through output.
 3. Regarding the blogger (content creator) and KOL Brother Ni, it is particularly true that true content output is driven by curiosity about things, deep thinking, the need for communication, and a certain desire to share, rather than relying on loud voices, opposition, or creating topics. Traffic is certainly good, but it is never the goal. If KOLs need topics and gimmicks, what content creators need is an objective, rational, and comprehensive perspective and angle. People are always wrong, and the market is even more notorious. Admitting mistakes, recording them, and iterating from them are the long-term ways to go. As stated on my profile page, I am a 'normalized dropout'. Making mistakes is not a big deal, as long as we don't make fatal mistakes, we should avoid making fatal mistakes and the kind of mistakes that can bring us to the table. I particularly like the term "SB speed": the speed at which a person discovers how "stupid" they were in the past (the previous one) directly determines the speed of their self-renewal and growth. We still need to continue learning new things, and iteration speed is the fundamental basis for us to constantly improve. Output is just a byproduct of learning. Being able to gain different perspectives means earning more. Thank you, Brother Ni, for your honesty and encouragement all along, and also thank you to all the fellow travelers you have met along the way. Just like last year when I climbed the mountain, https://((x.com))/qinbafrank/status/199418482823028760589?
