Other securities firms holding stocks can directly transfer them to Binance!
After the last empty Monday gap, the class monitor decided to open a US stock account at another securities firm to hoard chip stocks, but the more he used it, the more disturbing it became.
On the one hand, I want to experience Binance's 24/7 off the market trading and bStocks as collateral to activate assets, but on the other hand, I am reluctant to sell my long-term positions and feel very conflicted.
He complained to Xiao A, "If you want to transfer to Binance, you can't just clear all your holdings and buy again. It's not cost-effective to lose the price difference back and forth
Xiao A directly clicked on the new feature of Binance: "Just in time for the major update of Binance, Transfer In supports direct transfer of stocks from external securities firms, without the need to clear and rebuild positions. The original positions are fully transferred, and the highest activity can earn up to 12000 USDC rewards
The class monitor's eyes lit up and he said, "No need to cut meat? Do you have any extra benefits? Just teach me
The class monitor was about to operate on the spot, and Little A casually waved his hand and handed over the tutorial link.
Step 1: Submit a transfer instruction to the transferring securities firm
Please submit a transfer application to the securities firm where you wish to transfer stocks. Binance collaborates with Alpaca Securities LLC to execute the DTC transfer process. Please ensure to fill in the following correct receiving information:
Securities firm name: ALPACA SECURATIES LLC
DTC Clearing Number: 3021
Counterparty contact person for settlement: ACAT/Transfer of Assets Depot
Delivery counterparty contact email: support@alpaca.markets
Payment counterparty contact phone number: N/A
Account Number: Your Binance UID
Step 2: Obtain Settlement Instructions (SSI)
Settlement Instruction (SSI) is detailed information that informs the DTC network of the exact delivery destination. Please take a screenshot to save the settlement instructions.
Step 3: Obtain proof of ownership of the transfer out account
Please display your complete legal name and account number at the receiving broker's screenshot. Please confirm that you are the same owner who transferred and received the account. Name verification is strictly enforced. If there is any difference between the legal name on the transfer out account and the receiving account, including the absence of a middle name or abbreviation, the transfer application will be rejected.
Step 4: Submit a transfer application on Binance
1. Click on [Fund Account] - [Stock Transfer] - [Transfer]. Your account and Alpaca's DTC information will be displayed here.
2. Fill in the account information according to your account information at the transferring securities firm. If the registered name on Binance does not match the name of the transferring brokerage account, you will need to submit a valid government issued identification document for identity verification.
3. Select the stock and enter the quantity. You can only transfer stocks supported by Binance, and the same stock code is currently not being processed, and only integer stocks are allowed. Each transfer request can contain up to 50 stocks. Please ensure that the stock code and quantity are consistent with SSI.
4. Upload the required files.
5. Before submitting the request, please ensure that all provided information is accurate and consistent with your transfer brokerage account records. Differences in name, account number, DTC number, stock code, quantity, or any other details will result in transfer failure. The transferring and receiving accounts must be registered under the same legal name. According to DTC rules, third-party transfer is not allowed. Submitting a request does not guarantee that the transfer will be completed. All requests must be verified and approved by both securities firms. Requests submitted with incomplete or incorrect information will be rejected.
Step 5: Review of Warehouse Transfer Application
After both securities firms have verified and verified all submitted information, your transfer application will be processed through DTC. From the processing date, it takes at least 14 working days for the transfer to be fully completed, and the transfer schedule largely depends on the processing speed of the transferring securities firm. You will receive updates on the final transfer status via email and/or internal messaging.
