Robinhood Chain will share 10% of its net protocol revenue with Arbitrum.
Out of this 10%, 8% goes to the Arbitrum treasury, considered additional revenue for the Arbitrum chain; 2% goes to the Arbitrum Developer Fund to support development, which is considered a cost.
In July, Robinhood Chain shared $357,200 in revenue with Arbitrum. After deducting the Developer Fund, the revenue was $285,800, accounting for approximately 34.8% of Arbitrum's total revenue.
As of August, Robinhood Chain has already shared $143,000 with Arbitrum. After deducting the Developer Fund, the revenue is $115,000, accounting for approximately 45.2% of Arbitrum's total revenue for the month.
It’s foreseeable that Robinhood Chain’s revenue sharing will become increasingly important to Arbitrum’s earnings.
However, for $ARB token holders, the net earnings for holders remain at 0.
