[ChangXin Memory Market Value Approaches Intel, Joins the Ranks of the World's Most Valuable Chip Manufacturers]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports: On August 14, according to Business Insider, Chinese memory chip manufacturer ChangXin Memory saw a significant surge in stock price after its listing on the Shanghai STAR Market, bringing its market value to approximately $540.5 billion, close to Intel's $552.6 billion, and surpassing Tencent's $505.8 billion. This positions ChangXin Memory as the 24th largest company globally by market capitalization.
ChangXin Memory is China's largest producer of dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) chips. On July 27, it raised approximately $8.6 billion through its initial public offering (IPO), with its stock closing 466% higher than the offering price on the first day of trading. Bernstein analysts stated that the listing would provide more funding for its capital expenditures. Nomura predicts that by the end of 2028, ChangXin Memory's share of global DRAM production will increase from around 10% to approximately 18%.
