Crypto mining farms are turning into AI data centers Recently, Riot Platforms and Anthropic signed a long-term data center agreement involving 191MW of computing power capacity. Meanwhile, AI infrastructure companies like CoreWeave and Super Micro are gaining market attention due to the ongoing demand for computing power. In other words, the electricity, land, and data center resources once allocated for Bitcoin are now being revalued as AI infrastructure. Crypto and AI are starting to compete for the same infrastructure. Previously, mining farms were all about: Electricity, land, data centers, computing power. Now, AI is competing for the exact same things. That’s why I’m increasingly convinced that the next big thing to watch isn’t just which model is stronger or which coin is rising faster, but who controls the underlying resources. Bitcoin mining farms → AI data centers. They may look like two separate industries, but dig deeper, and you’ll see they’re heading toward the same endpoint. Trends will shift, but scarce resources won’t. Just my personal observation, not investment advice.
