[Yangtze Memory's Q2 Flash Memory Shipments Surpass Kioxia, Accelerating Catch-Up with Samsung and SK Hynix] According to Deep Tide TechFlow on August 13, Bloomberg reported that data from market research firm Counterpoint Research shows that China's Yangtze Memory Technologies (YMTC) surpassed Japan's Kioxia Holdings in global NAND flash memory bit shipments during the second quarter of this year (June quarter). At the same time, it further narrowed the gap with Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, demonstrating that Chinese chip manufacturers continue to benefit from the tight supply of memory chips driven by AI demand.
