Glassnode @glassnode shared something pretty chilling in their latest weekly report: being indifferent to good news is a warning in itself. Last night, CPI data came in exactly as expected, the U.S. stock market is at historic highs, but BTC didn’t budge an inch. What’s even scarier is the trading volume. Measured in coin terms, spot trading volume has dropped to the lowest level since 2019 when data started being tracked. Excluding Binance, it even broke the 2023 bear market bottom—meaning the fewest people in seven years are trading Bitcoin. Right now, the price is stuck between two lines: below at $63,000, which is the median cost basis for the entire market, and above at $68,700, which is the average cost basis for short-term holders.
