According to The Information, Sequoia Capital and asset management giant Wellington are in deep negotiations to invest in the prediction market platform Kalshi, with the deal valued at approximately $40 billion. Wellington will become a new investor in Kalshi, having previously invested in companies nearing the IPO stage multiple times. The deal has not been finalized yet.
