[Kazakhstan Miners Have Mined 7,200 Bitcoins Since 2023] DeepTech TechFlow reports, on August 13, according to bits.media, Kazakhstan's Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development stated that from the beginning of 2023 to May 2026, local licensed miners and mining pools have cumulatively mined 7,200 Bitcoins. Among these, the highest production year is 2024, with approximately 3,400 Bitcoins mined. In 2025, 2,300 Bitcoins were mined, and in the first five months of 2026, 519.5 Bitcoins were produced. Currently, Kazakhstan has 78 mining companies in operation, with over 465,000 mining devices registered in the national system. Between 2023 and 2025, mining-related tax contributions are estimated to be around 35 billion tenge. Previously, Kazakhstan adjusted its cryptocurrency regulatory policies, removing the requirement for miners to sell the majority of their mined cryptocurrencies through the Astana International Financial Center exchange.
