🚨SHOCKING: The US borrowed $432 BILLION in one month, $14 billion every single DAY, marking its biggest July deficit on record. July's gap was the largest monthly deficit since COVID relief spending in March 2021, per Treasury data. Where the money went: - Medicare was the biggest expense at $174 billion, up from $103 billion in June - Social Security cost $141 billion - Interest on the national debt consumed $104 billion in a single month - Tariff REFUNDS cost $33 billion after the Supreme Court struck down Trump's levies, turning customs receipts NEGATIVE The bigger problem: The 10-month deficit stands at $1.8 TRILLION, already topping ALL of last fiscal year with two months left. The CBO now sees the full-year deficit hitting $2.1 TRILLION, with the Supreme Court's tariff ruling alone erasing $250 billion in expected revenue. Interest is now America's third-biggest expense, behind only Social Security and Medicare, as total debt nears $39.9 TRILLION.(Coin Bureau)
