"SPCX is showing up! During midweek trading hours, it touched 141 again, the level it tested during last weekend's low liquidity period. However, there’s still resistance between 139-143.3. Without major positive news and increased volume, even if it breaks through, it will likely need several attempts. Since the rebound from the bottom, SPCX has consistently held above 130 during pullbacks, with higher lows each time—overall, it’s showing strong performance. After the two unlocks on August 6 and August 20, SPCX’s circulating shares will expand by nearly threefold, which will increase its weighting in the Nasdaq index. On September 11, the new weighting might be announced, and on September 18, passive funds tracking the Nasdaq will likely start buying. Based on the experience from its first inclusion in the index on July 6, the market usually front-runs the event and sells to passive funds on the actual inclusion day. So right now, the combination of short squeezes, the gap before the unlocks, and the anticipated September 18 buying is keeping SPCX in an upward channel. If August 20 sees high volume without a price drop, the market will quickly start front-running September’s passive fund buying. If SPCX loses the 130 level on August 20, then the next support is around 125–128. The mechanical buying trend will be delayed but not disappear. If the unlock is absorbed smoothly, event-driven funds will likely start betting early on increased free float and higher target weighting. This could push the price to around 145. If the new weighting announced on September 11 exceeds market expectations, it could trigger a peak event period, potentially driving the price to the 150 range. If overall strength combines with short covering, it might even reach 160. @BITstocks_CN Buy U.S. stocks on BIT—10,000+ U.S. stocks and ETFs, real holdings, enjoy dividends.
