According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on August 12, WIRED reported that a series of violent cargo theft incidents targeting AI data center hardware have recently occurred in California. Criminal organizations are employing new adversarial tactics to intercept trucks transporting servers and related equipment. Gerardo Pachuca, a former Los Angeles detective and consultant with 25 years of experience in cargo theft investigations, stated that the brazenness of such actions is 'unprecedented.' Currently, these incidents have put the entire freight industry on high alert. Analysts point out that with the surging demand for AI infrastructure development, high-value server hardware has become a prime target for organized crime.
