[Swiss National Bank's U.S. Stock Holdings Hit Record High, NVIDIA, Apple, and Microsoft Top the List] Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on August 11, the value of the Swiss National Bank's U.S. stock foreign exchange reserves grew by more than 10% in the second quarter, reaching the highest level on record. According to the 13F-HR filing submitted by the Swiss National Bank to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday, as of June 30, the bank held shares in over 2,300 U.S.-listed companies, with a total value of $191.4 billion. The Swiss National Bank allocates slightly over a quarter of its foreign exchange reserves to equities, some of which are invested in the U.S. The top three holdings are NVIDIA (NVDA.O), Apple (AAPL.O), and Microsoft (MSFT.O). The bank also holds $716.6 million worth of shares in defense software company Palantir, despite previous demands from activist investors to sell approximately $1.1 billion worth of Palantir holdings, which the Swiss National Bank declined.
