According to Decrypt, the Co-Chairs of the UK Parliament's All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Crypto and Digital Assets have sent letters to the CEOs of all major UK banks, requesting clarification on their policies regarding account opening, transactions, and payments for crypto and digital asset businesses. APPG stated that multiple crypto firms have reported difficulties accessing UK banking services, with some banks still restricting crypto-related payments. The accessibility of banking services could become one of the main barriers to the industry's growth. The group has asked banks to explain their current policies, the reasons for restrictions, and whether they plan to adjust their approach after the FCA's new crypto regulatory framework comes into effect. APPG launched a related parliamentary inquiry on July 21, with the deadline for written submissions set for August 31. https://(wublock123.com)/news/uk-mps-probe-crypto-firms-bank-services-restrictions-66301
