[Analyst: New Bitcoin Holder Group Nears Break-Even, While 3-6 Month Holders Remain at a Loss]
CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler Jr. noted in a post that the profit and loss metric (NUPL) for Bitcoin's newest holder group (0-3 months) has narrowed from -0.13 in June to -0.02, approaching break-even. Meanwhile, the 3-6 month holders have also seen some recovery from their June lows but remain at -0.14, indicating deeper losses.
In terms of realized market cap drawdown, the 3-6 month holders have worsened from -53% to -69.6%, marking a 90-day low, while the 0-3 month group is around -64%. The analyst stated that the near break-even status of the 0-3 month holders is a positive signal, but the pressure has not yet been alleviated for the 3-6 month group. A broader improvement would require the NUPL for 3-6 month holders to return above zero, along with a halt in the deepening of realized market cap drawdowns and the beginning of a recovery.
