Sometimes I really hate myself for not sticking to the rules. I kept saying I’d exit at $75, but when it actually hit $75, I didn’t want to leave. Ended up riding another roller coaster again—this is the second time this round. Although I’m not worried at all about shorting oil, the recent funding rate hikes are making my heart ache a bit. Last month, holding onto it didn’t cost much, but in less than two weeks, 20% of my investment has gone to funding fees. Today, I saw some media claiming they’ll drag things out with Trump until the 2028 election is over. And it’s from a news outlet I check every day. But I think that’s pretty unlikely. They also said Trump and Iran will absolutely never reach an agreement. I haven’t been slacking lately—if there were any official statements like that, there’s no way I wouldn’t know. So I did some digging, and sure enough, it’s just this media outlet talking nonsense. But thinking about it, this “media” outlet from India—I checked Grok’s data, and the feedback I got was that this outlet is clearly biased toward Iran, with a critical stance on Trump’s administration and U.S. policies. With that in mind, I get it now. Looks like you really can’t trust every piece of news you see. You’ve got to have your own judgment, and if something feels off, you need to verify it. Today’s drop in U.S. stocks and Bitcoin is somewhat related to the worsening situation in the Strait of Hormuz over the weekend. But for me, bitcoin:native and shorting oil are things I’m not worried about. Bitcoin’s dual-currency update today still holds at $63,000 for buying and $66,000 for selling. However, Trump will likely accelerate the direct U.S.-Iran relationship, with less than three months to go until the midterm elections. @Gate Crypto, U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, gold, CFDs, prediction markets—all-in-one trading platform.
