Trading volume shrinks. Sell orders get thinner and thinner. At this point, something very important happens in the market: Fewer and fewer people are willing to sell. The bottom isn’t a specific price. It’s a process. It’s about clearing out those who are willing to sell at low prices. One by one. So the real bottom often isn’t during the peak of panic. It’s after the panic ends, when the market realizes no one is willing to sell anymore. This is far more useful than “a 90% drop means it’s the bottom.”
