My posting frequency has dropped a lot lately, not because I’ve stopped observing the market, but because there’s no “wealth code” worth bringing to everyone’s attention.
I don’t need to chase traffic all the time. The real question I should be thinking about is how to act on my insights and help more people in the community and every follower in the process.
1️⃣ Market trading volume has decreased, so mainstream tokens will become the primary trading category. Even if you buy a fast-pumping altcoin before it surges, you won’t make much money from that trade.
That’s why we feel like “altcoins are over.” This has nothing to do with the projects themselves—it’s purely a result of the current market trading environment.
So, we need to focus more on mainstream tokens. The main trades should be in tokens like $BTC and $ETH.
We’re shifting from participating in every project and hyping how great it is (Sahara, Plume, Kite, Lpt, Sui...) to a more rational, technical trading approach.
2️⃣ Will the crypto market improve in the future?
Will altcoins regain the attention of traders? Regardless of the answer, the future is uncertain.
If you think the answer is yes, then in this market environment, you need to find spot holdings worth holding long-term.
I personally hold 1M each of: Kite (the token price has clear support) and plasma:native (payments are crucial).
If you think the answer is no, then we need to sell off all our holdings and focus on short-term trading in $BTC. Except for my holdings in Kite and plasma:native, I’ve already done this.
But no matter the answer, I should let go of pessimism and continue to believe that the crypto industry will be even bigger than the last cycle.
The worse the economy gets, the more we should believe: crypto is still the only upward path for young people. The world still needs a high-liquidity, fast, anonymous, and permissionless financial market.
